Gentleman's Travelling Toilet Set
Various, 1851–1852
Veneered case with silver mounts, containing items made of silver, steel, and ivory. Most of the silver items bear the maker's mark of Charles Rawlings and William Summers and London hallmarks for 1851/2. Many pieces are engraved with a crest. Part of a gift to five museums by Richmond Inglis Cochrane through the Art Fund between 1995 and 1997.
