Five Windows with Sky
Derek Morris, 2003

Morris is a renowned Norwich sculptor who was the President of the Royal British Society of Sculptors. This work is a classic example of his developed practice. Its investigation of the relationship to architectural spaces, colour, light and shifting perspective, encourages a meditative reflection upon the mystery of our visual and mental perceptions, and will be a fine addition to the Norwich Castle permanent collection of modern and contemporary art. This work was acquired with the support of the Art Fund with the assistance of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
