Carved wooden figure of Charity with two children. An Ionic capital frames the head. A caryatid which probably would have originally supported furniture. An example of 17th century non-memorial sculpture. Part of a bequest to three museums by Mrs Suzanne King through the Art Fund in 1992 and 1993.
