Enamelled creamware ship bowl

, 1778–1790

The three-masted ship is painted in black, not printed and it is unusual for figures to be depicted on deck. The full Royal Hanoverian Arms in the Garter with the English and Scottish national emblems appear on the outside in proper colours while the large flower sprigs are probably painted by another hand.
