Covered Beaker in the Seventeenth-Century Frisian Style
Unknown artist, 1850–1900
Its pieces are struck with spurious marks for the Groningen silversmith Lambert Muntinck the Leeuwarden master Johannes Jans, an unidentified maker, and the Gronigen year-letter for 1778/9. Part of a gift to five museums by Richmond Inglis Cochrane through the Art Fund between 1995 and 1997.
