
63 pieces of silver plate (almost all English) covering the period between the reigns of Elizabeth and George I including 6 Jacobean tankards, one given by the Duke of Ormonde, Chancellor of Oxford, to the Senior Proctor in 1669, a Charles II silver gilt teapot, by Benjamin Pyne 1680 (illustrated); two Porringers, Mark NS, 1667; Elizabethan tiger-ware jugs; Queen Anne maces. Also includes a collection of 70 early English spoons, 1504-1694.
