The works include 1) 'Mere et ses deux Enfants' by Honore Daumier; 2) 'Seated Woman' by Augustus John; 3) 'Summer' by David Muirhead; 4) 'Woods in Winter' by John Nash and 5) 'Bridgnorth' by Philip Wilson Steer. A E Anderson presented a total of 138 drawings to the Whitworth through the Art Fund on four separate occasions in 1923, 1925, 1926 and 1928.
