Bagenal's Castle Series

Six works depicting different aspects of the complex history of Bagenal's Castle, founded as a Cistercian Abbey in 1144, and most recently the site of a bakery. The artist was inspired to create the works after hearing about the plans to restore the site as the new location for Newry & Mourne Museum. Purchased by the Art Fund with the assistance of the Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
