Art Funded by you

Artist's Choice

Various, 1987

A collection of 48 prints by artists that have graduated from the Royal College of Art produced in 1987 to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the RCA. The prints were produced by some of the leading printmakers of their generation and provide an important snapshot of the work being produced by these artists in the late 1980s. In some cases the prints compliment works by artists already in the collection, while other works extend the range or strengthen the collection. The works illustrated are 1) 'Galaxy' by Albert Irvin; 2) 'Liknon' by Jo Tilson; 3) 'Young Predators' by Paula Rego; 4) 'Oh What an Effort It Is To Love You...' by Terry Frost and 5) 'The Black Room' by Tim Mara.
