An Elizabethan Silver Flagon
William Cobbold, 1580
Stamped with Cobbold's marks, an orb and a cross, and the Norwich city arms, a castle and a lion. The boss of the cover is engraved with the coat of arms of the Bell family of Suffolk and the initials W P, probably those of a husband and wife.
