Depicts the bakery of the Kastellet, a Castle in Copenhagen, which served as a prison. It depicts three figures in conversation and a fourth at a pump. The figures are the artist's father, who owned the bakery, Mayor J.J.Krohn and Slave Sergeant Sporch, who worked there.
