A View of Chester from Boughton

Joseph Farington, 1770–1810

The artist was a pupil of Richard Wilson. His works were chiefly views in Westmorland and Cumberland, many of which were engraved. This drawing was later engraved by J Landseer and J. Woolnoth, London 1810.
