Art Funded by you

A selection of fifteen works from the 'Neue Welt' series

Wolfgang Tillmans, 2009–2012

Tillmans is perhaps one of the most respected and influential artists of his generation, internationally-renowned for photographic works that demonstrate an innovative approach to the visual documentation of a subject, from people and animals to landscapes, abstracts and still lifes. The curators from the gallery met the artist at his studio and the artist offered 15 works from the 'Neue Welt' series which can be displayed together in an installation, making this one of the most substantial acquistions from the Art Fund International project. These works were acquired with assistance from the Wolfson Foundation.
