A pair of famille Verte plates, Chinese, Kang Hsi period; in the centre of each a basket of flowers, surrounded by a panelled border of flowers and flowers and plants in a landscape. One of eight works bequeathed to the Art Fund by Mrs A. B. Williamson and presented to Liverpool, where the Williamson family business originated, in 1957.
