Baron Carlo Marochetti, 1853

Cup in the form of a centrepiece showing the captive King John of France entering London on May 1357, escorted by the Black Prince to whom he had fallen captive at the Battle of Poitiers. It was won by Lord Rothschild's horse Hungerford. Designed by Marochetti, made by Hancock.
