Art Funded by you

Finger ring

Unknown artist, 7th century

A ring with a circular bezel divided into four with a fine beaded wire framing four collared settings of glass beads. The hoop is partly flattened and distorted. It shows rare evidence of a personal belonging from the middle stratum of society below the aristocracy but above the peasant or similar craftsman level.
