1) Study of a sunset sky across a field bordered with trees in Hampstead; 2) Study of a sunset seen through trees in autumn foliage. A bonfire can be seen in the middle distance, the smoke of which mingles in the sky. One of two gifts presented to Harris and Tate by Miss Burlison through the Art Fund in 1928.
