Art Funded by you

1) Great Tondo VI; 2) White Diamond I

Balraj Khanna, 1) 2005; 2) 2003

© The artist

Khanna has developed his own unique visual language taking inspiration from nature, spirituality and concepts of creation. The two artworks were produced for a solo exhibition at Cartwright Hall in 2005 entitled 'New Language'. In the works, he has omitted colour, placing greater emphasis on the purity of form and mounted the shapes in circular and oval formats, breaking from the confines of more traditional square framing.
