Competition: Warhol at the Ashmolean
- Ashmolean Museum
- 13 April 2016
We are giving you the chance to win tickets to the exhibition and a Warhol-themed goodie bag.
In the early years of his career, Andy Warhol was not sure about what to paint. His friends gave him many different answers from cows to car crashes. However, when Warhol turned to the things he loved the most – such as money, celebrities and Campbell’s soup – his work took a new trailblazing direction and earned him the name The Prince of Pop.
The Ashmolean's Andy Warhol: Works from the Hall Collection exhibition spans the artist's entire output from his instantly recognisable portraits to lesser known works that are on public display for the first time. We are giving you the chance to win two tickets to the exhibition and a Warhol-themed goodie bag (pictured) which includes a poster, notecards and magnets inspired by the artist’s work as well as his book, The Philosophy of Andy Warhol.
