Perry's exuberant tapestries, The Vanity of Small Differences, chart class taste and social mobility in contemporary Britain and are currently on tour across the UK. Jacky Klein takes a look while they are on display at Victoria Art Gallery, Bath to explore the intricate layers of meaning in Perry's six part morality-tale.


The Vanity of Small Differences is a modern masterpiece, and you can see these enlightening tapestries at Victoria Art Gallery, Bath until 10 April, 50% off with a National Art Pass. 

This important work was gifted to the Arts Council Collection and the British Council by the artist and Victoria Miro Gallery, London, with support from Channel 4 Television, the Art Fund, Sfumato Foundation and AlixPartners.
