Many art historians for centuries have argued that Venetian artists didn’t value drawing; opting instead to focus on the colour and spectacle of the final painting. The Titian to Canaletto: Drawing in Venice exhibition at the Ashmolean Museum wants to challenge that view. In collaboration with the Uffizi, it is the first major exhibition of Venetian drawings in the UK based on new research. It includes over 100 works by artists such as Titian, Tintoretto and Tiepolo and traces the importance of drawing over three centuries.

We are giving you the chance to win a day out for two at the Ashmolean Museum. Have a look around the exhibition, enjoy afternoon tea for two at the museum’s cafe and pick up the exhibition’s catalogue. Please note, the prize must be redeemed by 3 January 2016.

Simply answer the question below to be entered and read the terms and conditions. You have until 23.59 on 18 November to enter.

The Titian to Canaletto: Drawing in Venice exhibition is at the Ashmolean Museum until 10 January 2016, 50% off with a National Art Pass.
