Ustek is associate curator for the 10th Gwangju Biennale in South Korea, and is guest tutor at Linköping University in Sweden. A regular contributor to international art magazines and catalogues, Ustek will serve as Art Fund Curator at fig-2, overseeing the year-long series.

The programme is a revival of fig-1, a 2001 exhibition cycle conceived by curator Mark Francis and White Cube's Jay Jopling, which showcased contemporary artists including Jeremy Deller, Peter Doig and Richard Hamilton.

Its second incarnation will bring together a range of established and emerging artists, drawn from fields ranging from contemporary art and design to literature and performance.

Fig-2 will launch at ICA Studio on 5 January 2014. It will be run in association with Outset Contemporary Art Fund, with support from the Art Fund, Bicester Village, Phillips and individual sponsors. Further details about the programme will be announced in late 2014.
