Art Everywhere is back – and it's bigger than before

Following the huge success of the inaugural project in 2013, Art Everywhere will once again flood the UK’s streets with art.

Last summer, Art Everywhere took over 22,000 poster sites around the UK with 57 great works of art. This year, the project is set to be even bigger – this time it will last six weeks, and a fantastic new set of British artworks from public collections will go on display. Plus, there will be a first-of-its-kind exhibition film, shown at cinemas nationwide. 

But first: it's time for you to help us choose the artworks! From today, Tuesday 3 June, we're asking the art-loving public to help curate the exhibition by selecting favourite British artworks from a longlist published at Facebook.com/ArtEverywhereUK. For three weeks you can vote and share through Facebook, or by emailing arteverywhere@artfund.orgYou can also snap up some incredible rewards by donating to the crowdfunding campaign – watch the video, below, starring comedian Jenny Eclair. Bag limited-edition prints, postcards and more, and youll be helping to spread Art Everywhere to more sites around the country.

Vote for the artworks

The top 25 artworks will be announced on 16 July by two world-renowned British artists, one of whom will unveil an exciting new piece of art that can be downloaded for free from 21 July. Reproductions of these artworks will be shown on billboard sites across the UK for six weeks from 21 July to 31 August, and will feature in the national exhibition film shown at over 1,000 Vue cinema screens in the UK until the end of August.

Art Everywhere is a collaborative project from Clear Channel, Exterion Media and JCDecaux, led by Richard Reed (co-founder of Innocent Drinks), the Art Fund, Tate, creative agency 101, Posterscope, Vizeum, Easyart and Facebook. Out of Home media owners have once again donated tens of thousands of sites to enable the nation’s favourite British art to grace all corners of the country, from bus shelters and underground stations in London, to roadside billboards in the Highlands, motorway services, national rail networks, shopping centres, airports and more will transform into a celebratory summer of art.
