William Morris Gallery welcomes Museum of the Year judges

The judging panel for this year's Museum of the Year award have visited Walthamstow to explore the recently renovated William Morris Gallery.

Set in Lloyd Park in Walthamstow, the gallery is the only public museum devoted to the life and work of William Morris: designer, artist, writer, thinker and father of the Arts and Crafts movement. The gallery reopened in 2012 following a £5 million renovation, which transformed it from a local treasure into a world-class attraction.
