Our Art Happens project is now closed

08/11/2014

A huge thank you to everyone who continues to support the reconstruction of Bryn Eryr, our Iron Age farmstead.

To give us the best chance of raising our target, we’ve been pursuing a variety of fundraising activities, as well as Art Happens, and we have been fortunate in securing some funds from the Players of the People’s Postcode Lottery, which will help meet the funding gap. But we will not rest! We are still seeking gifts for the project, because the work is progressing and the farmstead is well on the way to opening in summer 2015 – the first element of a £26.6m capital project at St Fagans.

Keep up to date with our progress on Twitter, Facebook and at www.museumwales.ac.uk/makinghistory.

On behalf of staff, apprentices and volunteers at St Fagans we’d like to thank everyone who is supporting Bryn Eryr – donors, enthusiasts and in particular the People’s Postcode Lottery for their generosity. We’d also like to thank the Art Fund for their support.

You can transfer your donation to another fantastic Art Happens project or request a refund by emailing arthappens@artfund.org.
