With just over two weeks to go to the launch of our Amy street art trail, we’ve been busy with Pegasus in our Welcome Gallery as we make art happen and transform the space for his latest work 'Love is a Losing Game'. This new installation will illustrate the many facets of Amy, bringing her and her lyrics to life outside of the frame.
Pegasus will be back in the museum next week to finish the remainder of this new work, but visitors are already being treated to a kaleidoscope of vibrant colours that can be enjoyed in the gallery over the next four months.
'Love is a Losing Game' will mark the final stop of our street art trail and act as a fitting finale to a new series of Amy-inspired works from five internationally renowned street artists. Next week we will give you an update what’s been happening on the streets, but in the meantime, visit our Art Happens updates page for a sneak preview of our illustrated street art map by Thom Kofoed, which has been specially commissioned for the project.
We will be sending out your rewards over the next few weeks. Those of you who have tickets for our Camden street art tours will have received some initial dates, so please check your inbox and get back to us!
Thank you again for your support during our crowdfunding campaign. Your generosity has allowed us to make this celebration of Amy happen and we can’t wait for you to see it.
