Art Fund supports hundreds of museums, galleries and historic houses. With our £1 million target, we’ll be able to fund a huge range of activity at lots of museums across the country. The impact of your donation will be felt everywhere – from your favourite local museums to those you love to visit.

Museums are ready to get creative – they just need help to do it.

Nine out of ten museums say that they’ll need to ‘adapt and innovate’ in order to get through the Covid-19 crisis. Your support will help them do exactly that. With the money we raise they can explore new ways of working, adapt their venues to keep them accessible, and bring art and ideas to life for everyone, wherever they are – at home, online and in person.

Museums inspire the next generation.

Over lockdown we saw how museums and galleries went above and beyond to keep kids and communities entertained and engaged in learning. From sending out activity packs to running online workshops, they kept working to provide inspiration, promote understanding and fire imaginations. It was amazing; and a reminder of what we’d lose if they had to close their doors for good.
