Help us take Oneness even further

We are delighted and very grateful for the overwhelming support that we have received so far – we can barely believe that with still 2 weeks left to go, we have exceeded our target! A huge thank you to all of you who have given so far - you have made Oneness possible, but can you help us go even further?

Every single donation, no matter the size, has made a difference and means that next year we will be able to bring artist Shahrzad Ghaffari to Leighton House, and provide her with everything she needs to start working on Oneness. The actual creative process is complex, due to the large scale of the artwork and the level of skill it will require – Oneness is made of numerous layers of different types of paint, that create a special texture and depth, which invokes walls being painted over again and again in different colours through time. In order for Shahrzad to safely reach and apply these layers to every inch of the 11-metre-high wall surface of the new staircase, we’ll need to install a bespoke scaffolding system that can be moved up and down the 4 floors the mural will decorate.

Every extra pound raised during the remaining 2 weeks will go to achieving this system, which will contribute to realising Oneness to its true potential. An immersive grand scale artwork, it will take visitors going up and down the staircase through a journey – as the colours and textures transition in each level, with the top silver tones shimmering as the sunlight from the ceiling skylight dances across the reflective surface.

So please do get involved if you have not done so already! You only have until 19 November to join us in making Oneness as impactful as it can be, by spreading the word and encouraging others to donate - remember that donating is the only opportunity to access our exclusive rewards and get a piece of Leighton House in your own home. As you might imagine, raised funds are ever more important right now, as due to the new national restrictions recently announced by the government, Leighton House must sadly close its doors again, with the financial impact that entails.

Thanks once more to everyone who has come together to #CreateOneness so far, we are absolutely thrilled by your support and generosity!
