Next year, with your help, the Museum of Oxford wants to tell the history of their city through the stories of its locals by creating an intriguing and interactive display and preserving important objects to ensure that they are protected for generations to enjoy and learn about.
We need your help to raise £15,000 to display the intriguing objects from Oxford’s pubs and breweries which will make up an exhibition telling the story of our rich local history through our own locals.
The sign from the 'Allied Arms' pub will feature alongside a metal work Eagle from the gates of the 'Eagle Brewery', and beer bottles and mats relating to 'Morrells Brewery'. Central to the exhibition will be an interactive pub quiz which will explore the different pubs and breweries both past and present, as well as sharing interesting facts and memories about them.
And with your support, we will be able to create this intriguing and interactive display.
We want to install our pubs and brewery exhibition in the autumn of 2020 and for your new museum to be open in late 2020. Your support will mean that your museum can be a place to remember and share all the fun stories and memories of Oxford’s greatest pubs!
You can choose from an exclusive range of rewards inspired by the Oxford’s locals especially for this campaign.
Please donate today to help us tell the story of Oxford’s pubs and breweries and their influence on the city.
