Thank you to everyone who has supported our campaign so far!
We're incredibly grateful for your support and it's heartening to see we're over 80% funded. We still need more support to reach our target, so please spread the word if you can.
One of our most popular reward so far has been designed by Art Night 2019 artist Christine Sun Kim.
The lovely set of two high quality ceramic cups will be perfect for your morning coffee (or tea)!
Christine said: ‘I like the idea of sipping one cup (one moment) but after the caffeine intake, you get more than just one moment.’
The cups will be signed by the artist at the bottom. Their size is 70mm x 68mm.
For Art Night 2019, we commissioned Christine Sun Kim to create a series of site specific commissions with students at Frank Barnes School for Deaf Children in King’s Cross, London
This included a multi-channel video installation in Coal Drops Yard exploring how experiences of deafness shape understandings of language and culture; a durational sound piece at the new COS concept store made with musician and producer Matt Karmil, a short animation screened at Regent’s Canal and a text-based ‘declaration’ championing and celebrating the benefits of sign language on the hoarding at Lewis Cubitt Square.
