Help us bring inspiring contemporary art to communities across the country
Art Night is a contemporary art festival which supports artists to make ambitious and experimental new work, challenging the possibilities of what public art can be.
We weren't able to run our all night festival last year due to the pandemic, so this year, we want to make it more ambitious than ever. Instead of one night, we want to extend the run to a month from 18 June to 18 July 2021 and for the first time, Art Night will take place across the whole country - in village halls, train stations, manor houses and colleges. We want to take brilliant contemporary artists and their work across the UK and online - and we need your help to make it happen.
Art Night is a small organisation with no funding for core costs. Our team is freelance and currently working in disparate locations in the UK and Europe. As a result of the global pandemic we have lost crucial funds from sponsors and partners.
At a time when artists and the freedom to create and experiment is at its most vulnerable, your support will go toward realising 10 inspiring commissions, with works by brilliant artists like Oona Doherty, Mark Leckey, OOMK, the Guerrilla Girls and more.
Join us to reach the final milestone to bring Art Night back for its fifth edition.
Funding, crucially, will also help making sure Art Night is in a position to continue as an organisation after the festival this year. We need this funding so contemporary art can land on your street corner, pull in to your train station, meet you on a country path or appear on your screen this year... and in years to come!
