It has been a while since we were in touch and apologise for the massive delay with the publication but we now have some exciting news to celebrate!
Over the last year, the ambition of the publication has grown beyond what we had initially imagined and we have been working hard on every detail. We wanted to make sure we got it right and have created a beautiful and collectable publication which reflects the work and creativity that went into the fig-2 project of 50 exhibitions in 50 weeks.
Without your support we could not have made this publication possible, your engagement and trust gave us the strength to build our supporter base and we am thrilled to inform you that we have also received further support from Outset, Bicester Village, and 5 fig-2 patrons Roland Cowan, Nicoletta Fiorucci, Giuseppe Iannaccone, Fatima Maleki, and Nell Sully.
When we last did an update, the publication was due to be published in spring last year and the book has indeed been ready to go to print since June 2017, but unfortunately, there have been other setbacks – our publisher’s busy schedule and then an issue with the supply materials.
The great news is that fig-2 publication is now being released from the printers. In celebration, we will be hosting a launch event in London and invite you to save the date for the last week in January 2018 (date to be announced soon!).
We fully appreciate it has been a long wait, and to ensure we have your most up to date postal address to send you your book, we will be in touch to check your details. We aim to have your publication delivered to you before the launch party in January.
We thank you for your patience and generous understanding.
& fig-2 team Jessie, Yves and Irene
