A message from our Director, Jennifer Scott:
Today we reached a fantastic 103% of our goal to raise the final £20,000 needed to build The Colour Palace. We are hugely grateful to every single one of our 97 donors who have helped support this campaign. This means we will be able to realise Pricegore architects’ and Yinka Ilori’s vision of The Colour Palace, bringing an extraordinary feat of architecture and design to our grounds.
The second ever Dulwich Pavilion, The Colour Palace will open in summer 2019, providing a free, open space with which we can welcome new and returning visitors to the Gallery and celebrate our South London community. We couldn’t have done it without your help!
There are still 3 days left of our Art Happens campaign, so if you would like to be a part of the amazing Colour Palace journey, you still can! Extra support will go towards funding an innovative and exciting series of Pavilion events for people of all ages, from family workshops to after-hours Lates. Our event programme will celebrate the themes of The Colour Palace, exploring identity, architecture and heritage. We will be collaborating with incredible artists and makers, giving further insight into this fascinating structure.
We are incredibly excited to have reached this milestone, and are now that bit closer to The Colour Palace becoming a reality.
Thank you again to everyone who has donated. You can still help spread the word by using #ColourPalace on social media!
