The museum reveals the local history and archaeology of Spelthorne Borough.
This volunteer-run museum tells the long story of the Spelthorne area, from the last Ice Age. Highlights include many finds from the Roman Town of Pontes (modern Staines), with a model of the town as it may have been, the London stone of 1285 which marked the extent of London's ownership of the Thames, and the original Staines Parish fire engine of 1738.
