In the unusual setting of a former 19th-century convent, the contemporary Nunnery Gallery in Bow celebrates emerging artists, with a focus on the East London area.
This not-for-profit gallery presents a rolling programme of exhibitions primarily featuring site-responsive work, uncovering the unique history and heritage of the local area. There is a focus on early-career artists, and you can even get your hands on original artworks which are available to buy from the gallery shop.
Diverse exhibitions

Regular exhibitions include Visions, a renowned showcase of moving image, digital and performance art and the East London Art Prize.
