Housed in the Grade II* listed Upton Hall, the Museum of Timekeeping cares for a unique collection of clocks, watches and other timepieces.
From the watch Captain Scott wore on his ill-fated polar expedition in 1912 to the first ever Speaking Clock voiced by a machine, discover fascinating exhibitions with unique horological objects at the Museum of Timekeeping. Explore the picturesque grounds and grand rooms of the beautiful Grade II* listed building, which is also the home of the British Horological Institute and the Clock House Cafe. Visitors can learn about the rich history of horology, from early timekeeping such as sundials and astrolabes to the most accurate timepieces of today.
