The Rona Cole Art Gallery
The gallery is dedicated to Helen Rona Cole, the first Director of Guernsey Museum and features 200 of the museum’s key artworks, including a Auguste Rodin bust of Victor Hugo, and William Toplis’ Venus Pool. Pull-out drawers contain light sensitive works on paper by artists such as Caparne, Le Lievre and Naftel, making them accessible on a semi-permanent basis for the very first time.
Family activities
The Guernsey Museum and Art Gallery caters to visitors of all ages. Families with young children will enjoy the Discovery Room, featuring a Cabinet of Curiosities filled with intriguing objects, old-fashioned games, and the popular role play area called the Timewarp that changes themes each year.
