Experience the magic of a traditional Georgian Christmas, with a special mouse-y twist!
Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a… um, well actually…
Back by popular demand for 2023 - with double the fun, double the magic, and double the mice!
Get ready for an enchanting Christmas experience that's bigger and better than ever before – with almost 400 merry mice taking over Fairfax House.
A Christmas wonderland like no other, you’ll find our mousey guests swinging from the ceiling, bursting out of drawers, and causing general havoc whilst they play amongst our festive Georgian decor.
Be prepared to be charmed, amused, and thoroughly delighted by the antics of our very special (and yes, a tad naughty) town-mouse guests, who will capture the hearts of the whole family.
In true 18th-century style, the house will be dressed magnificently with festive foliage - so don’t miss this wonderful wintertime display celebrating the Christmas traditions of the Georgian townhouse, and the jolly festivities of the Georgian town-mouse.
The best part? This exhibition is free for under 16s!
The town-mice are taking over Fairfax House for their magnificent celebrations between Saturday 11th November and Sunday 7th January. The house will be closed on 24th, 25th, 26th and 31st December.
Admission to the exhibition for adults is included in the normal entry price, and is just £7.50.
