Major group show exploring themes that connect Lagos in Nigeria and Peckham in South London, also known as ‘Little Lagos’.
Bringing together works from Nigerian and British Nigerian artists including Abdulrazaq Awofeso, Seyi Adelekun, Chiizii, Victor Ehikhamenor, Onyeka Igwe, Adeyemi Michael, Christopher Obuh, Temitayo Shonibare and Yinka Shonibare, the exhibition will feature installation, sculpture, photography and film.
Highlights include a newly commissioned large-scale installation by Ndidi Dike evoking sights, sounds and smells of the Lagos marketplace; Emeka Ogboh's collaboration with a south London-based craft brewery to brew a Lagos-inspired beer; and a new interactive play sculpture from Temitayo Ogunbiyi.
