BFI Film Academy SCENE presents Midlands Short Film Club at Derby QUAD is a special screening and networking event dedicated to showcasing and celebrating the incredible work of filmmakers from the Midlands who have received support from the BFI NETWORK Short Film Fund.
QUAD is very excited to be screening five short films which have been produced by some of the best creative talent from the Midlands. We are also delighted that we will be welcoming the remarkable filmmakers behind them for a panel discussion and Q&A afterwards. Statue in the Garden (dir. Qianhui Yu)
We’re All Black Down Here (dir. James William Mellors)
Starboy (dir. A.R. Ugas)

BFI Film Academy SCENE presents Midlands Short Film Club screening delivered by Derby QUAD on behalf of Film Hub Midlands, and supported by National Lottery.
Tickets: £5.00 (plus booking fee). Ticket and travel reimbursement for this event is available to anyone aged 16-25.
