Join RAMM in this textile workshop to make British birds come to life from recycled materials!

Join textile artist Rosy Tydeman and make a British bird from second-hand (washed!) baby socks and recycled sari fabrics. The birds will stand on flexible wire legs and you will stitch on beads for eyes at the end to make your bird come to life! These beautiful creations will sit proudly in your home for years to come.

This workshop is suitable for all levels of experience. It will run across lunchtime so please bring your lunch or you can visit the Cafe at RAMM.

Rosy usually works from her studio in Exeter where she also runs a wide variety of workshops from making frilly knickers, to slow stitched embroidery, to memory boxes made to honour and remember departed loved ones. Her passions include colour, pattern, texture, and nurturing creativity and self-expression in workshop participants.
