26th September session: Once again, we are inviting visitors into our storeroom for a chance to learn more about some of the wonderful objects in our collection that are not usually on display. The Armitt holds a huge range of material relating to local history and the people who made this area so special, including artworks, books, textiles, photographs and more. In this relaxed session, you'll have the opportunity to hear about and handle a range of different objects that reveal fascinating stories from Lakeland's past. There will be plenty of time to ask questions and take a closer look at the objects on display.
Places are limited to ensure participants can see everything that is taking place and have the opportunity to ask plenty of questions.
