Multi-disciplinary artist Shezad Dawood will share how Henry Moore’s work and creative processes have informed his own.
We can trace Moore’s interest in the relationship between human, natural forms and the environment in the work of a number of contemporary artists working today.
Join us for a series of three talks by leading contemporary artists, who will each reflect on our 2024 theme Inspiration, Sculpture and Our Natural World.
In this talk multidisciplinary artist Shezad Dawood will share how Moore’s work and creative processes have informed his own artistic practice.
Dawood's work interleaves stories, realities and symbolism to create richly layered artworks, spanning painting, textiles, film and digital media. His practice is animated by research and he has spent time in the Henry Moore Archive in preparation for this event.
This talk will take place in the Aisled Barn at Henry Moore Studios & Gardens. Places are limited so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.
