Charles Parker lived in the Scunthorpe area for many years and he worked at Nypro (UK) Ltd in the 1970s. Following the Disaster he was a member of the Project Team which managed the rebuilding of the plant and when production commenced he was responsible for the plant finance records. After the plant closed he moved away from the area but he has maintained an interest in the history of the various industries in North Lincolnshire and his talk will be based on personal recollections and use publicity material issued by the company.
