Luna North is an established local artist, who uses the native flora & fauna of the wild hills and valleys of Exmoor in North Devon as her home and inspiration.
Luna studied BA (Hons) Fine Art painting at Falmouth College of Art, settling in Exmoor in 1987. She was featured as an artist on Exmoor on Chanel 4’s ‘Devon and Cornwall’ TV program in 2020 and was selected for the first time to exhibit with the Royal Society of British Painters at the Mall gallery in London.
As both a painter and printmaker, her work focuses on wildflowers and habitats local to Exmoor and North Devon. During this talk and demonstration she will let us into her contemporary process and share with us her love of the North Devon landscape.
