Enjoy lots of fun, creative and sensory activities inspired by the colourful summer fruits painted on Worcester porcelain. Activities include clay-modelling, painting with fruit, collage and more. Summer Open Day visitors can enjoy demonstrations of ceramic techniques by former Royal Worcester artists and get close to examples of Worcester porcelain from our handling collection.

NEW THIS YEAR: interactive workshops making fruit sorbets with award-winning food historian and chef, Dr Neil Buttery, and poets from Worcestershire Litfest.

Book your add-on special paint-a-pot experience as part of the day - for £12.75 you can choose from a flower pot or coasters to decorate and we'll glaze and fire for you to collect later.

Enjoy tea-tasting of fruit teas served in Royal Worcester, demonstrations of ceramic techniques by former Royal Worcester artists and get close to examples of Worcester porcelain from our handling collection.

All activities free with event ticket except Paint-Your-Own-Pottery. Under-6s are free, 6 years and up £3.50 event admission.

From November to March, we are open:

Thursday to Saturday, 10am-5pm

Sunday 10am-4pm

April to October, we are open:

Tuesday– Saturday, 10am – 5pm, Sunday 10am - 4pm

Closed Christmas Day, Boxing Day and Easter Sunday.
