Join Kevin Shaw for this talk exploring the life and disappearance of George Mallory.

Apart from examining the intriguing mystery which still surrounds his disappearance near the summit of Everest a hundred years ago, this talk by Kevin Shaw also reveals something of Mallory’s extraordinary life story: as daredevil schoolboy, fine sportsman, impressive Cambridge student, inspiring young schoolmaster, soldier on the Western Front and close friend to many of the Bloomsbury Group – all against the backdrop of his celebrated talent as “the” climber of his age.

Please note: Gates open from 6.30-6.50pm with the talk starting at 7pm.
