Art In Fiction: James Cahill and Tim Knox In Conversation

25 July 2024
7 - 9pm; doors open at 6:30pm

Author James Cahill discusses his book "Tiepolo Blue" with Tim Knox, Director of the Royal Collection.

Author James Cahill will be joined by Tim Knox, Director of the Royal Collection, for a conversation about Cahill’s acclaimed debut novel Tiepolo Blue – the story of an art historian’s downfall and mid-life awakening.

Cahill will introduce some of the inspirations behind this story of art, desire and disgrace in 1990s London – from Caravaggio to the ‘YBAs’ to Leighton House – before chatting with Knox about Tiepolo Blue and the art-world setting of his second novel, The Violet Hour (coming February 2025).
