Some people say that The Party Stains play the kind of music for the morning after the night before. When glasses - both half-empty and half full- are strewn about the place, and a musical ‘hair of the dog’ is required to revive aching heads and world- weary spirits. Elements of Easy Listening , Bossa Nova and French & Italian music are combined with original songs, wry observations on life and reflections on the Human condition , to create a sensual and appealing sound which is both thought -provoking and entertaining. The Party Stains are certainly a good band to listen to, as they waft you along on their waves of music, but they are also great for dancing too, with spicy Latin rhythms and sultry vocals to get us in the mood for the cocktail hour once more. Even though it might be said by some , that at our time of life , we should know better…
Jayne Cooper : vocals , violin
Luke Carver Goss : vocals, accordion, piano , guitar, flugelhorn
Richard Masters: vocals , guitar, ukulele
Keith Angel: percussion, bass, piano, vocals, spoken word.
