D-Day in 80 Objects Evening Talk

12 June 2024
19:00

How do you choose 80 artefacts from ten different museums to try and tell the full story of the Normandy Landings?

Andrew Whitmarsh, the curator of The D-Day Story, explains how this special project was created, and some of the perhaps lesser-known aspects of history that it reveals.

The museum and Overlord Embroidery will be open until 7pm for those visitors who wish to purchase a museum ticket or who have an annual pass. Landing Craft Tank 7074 will not be open on this occasion.

Tickets will be available on the door.
